Julius Emil Yunghans - World War I draft registration

Here is the World War I draft registration for Julius Yunghans, eldest son of Emil Heinrich and Julia Yunghans.

Julius worked for his father's cigar factory when this document was completed on September 13, 1918.

All 8 of their sons registered for the draft, which will be posted in the next 8 entries.

1910 US Federal Census - Julius Yunghans

Continuing with the 1910 US Census, Emil Yunghans' eldest son, Julius was living with wife Minnie, daughter Marie and son Arthur at apparently the same location as they were living in 1900: on Broadway Street in Vincennes, Indiana.

Julius was a cigar maker; most likely at his father's factory.

1900 US Federal Census - Julius Yunghans

I have posted all the 1900 US Census records for 3 of the 4 Junghans brothers, Emil, Paul and Otto. Carl's census record I've been unable to locate; I do know he did not marry Hannah Kerlifofaky until 1905 in Indiana, but not sure of his whereabouts in 1900.

Of the next generation of Junghans (or Yunghans), only Emil's eldest son, Julius had moved out on his own and started a family.

In 1900, Julius, wife Minnie and their newborn daughter Marie were living on Broadway Street in Vincennes, Indiana.
