1930 US Census - William Junghans

Here is the 1930 US Census for William Junghans, the eldest son born to Wilhelminia (Schmidt) and Paul Richard Junghans.

William and wife Della (Phillips) and their children Kenneth, Harlow, William Jr and eventual adopted daughter,  Olive Phillips (lines 26 - 31) were living in Homer township, Winona county, Minnesota.   Clarence, Olive's father, was Della's brother.

William was employed as a dairy farmer.   

1930 US Census - Carl Junghans

Below is the 1930 US Census for Carl Junghans, the second son born to Wilhelminia (Schmidt) and Paul Richard Junghans.

Carl was living with wife Selma (Frentzel) in  Koshkonong township, Jefferson county, Wisconsin with their son Lloyd.    Carl was employed as an engineer.

1930 US Census - Walter Junghans

Here is the 1930 US Census for my grandfather, Walter Junghans.

It appears Walter was living alone, even though it indicates "boarder".   He was employed as an order clerk for a poultry and barn equipment company in Fort Atkinson, Jefferson county, Wisconsin.

I had trouble tracking down this census as it was indexed as "Walter Junghaus" rather than the correct spelling of Junghans.

1930 US Census - Otto Junghans Jr

I came across this document which I thought I had posted earlier.

Here is the 1930 US Census for Otto Junghans Jr, wife Ella (Heiden) and their three children, Lydia, Gerhardt and Gilbert, living at their farm in Mequon, Ozaukee County, Wisconsin.

1930 US Census - Paul Richard Junghans

Here is the 1930 US Census for my great grandfather, Paul Richard Junghans.    Paul was living at the home of his son, Paul Jr and wife Rosina and their son Richard in Jefferson County near Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin.

Also living in the household was Paul Richard Junghans' sister-in-law, Mary Schmidt.

Like so many census records with errors, this one indicates Paul Richard Junghans immigrated to the United States in 1868.    As I pointed out in earlier posts, he immigrated sometime in 1886.
