Otto Junghans - family tree

Christliebe (Kuehn) and Carl Heinrich Junghans'  second son, Carl (Yunghans) and wife Hannah (Kerlifofaky) did not have any children, which ended their branch of the Junghans family tree.

Christliebe (Kuehn) and Carl Heinrich Junghans' third son, Otto and wife Hulda (Hahmann) had two children, Otto Jr and Martha.   Their family tree and the subsequent generations can be found here.

Emil Yunghans family tree

Now that I've posted my inventory of photos and documents of the Junghans (Yunghans) families, I'm going to update the family tree spreadsheet.

The eldest son of Christliebe (Kuehn) and Carl Heinrich Junghans was Emil Junghans.   Emil had changed the spelling of his last name from Junghans to Yunghans and settled in Vincennes, Indiana.   The spreadsheet of his branch of the family tree can be found here.

Otto Carl Yunghans - death certificate

Here is the death certificate for Christliebe (Kuehn) and Carl Heinrich Junghans' grandson, Otto Carl Yunghans.
































Otto was born February 6, 1883 in Vincennes, Indiana to Julia (Kolb) and Emil Heinrich Yunghans.   Otto died July 6, 1945 in Cleveland, Ohio.

Henry Yunghans - robbery

 Returning to the family tree of Paul Richard Junghans' elder brother, Emil Yunghans, here is a July 27, 1932 newspaper article from The Kokomo Tribune about the theft of Henry Yunghans' wallet at a hotel in Indianapolis.   

Old newspapers are an interesting way to revisit history.  Note the "Beauty Hint" from Joan Crawford in the upper left quadrant (depicted with red arrow).

Henry was the second child born to Julia (Kolb) and the eldest of the Junghans brothers, Emil Heinrich Yunghans.   Henry's grandparents were Christliebe Kuehn and Carl Heinrich Junghans.

Dale Mason Junghans - graduation

Dale was the son of Margie (Snell)* and Harlow Paul Junghans.   His grandparents were Della (Phillips) and William Paul Junghans.
